Should I return the hammers?
The local big box hardware store donated birdhouse kits to my girl scout troop. The women also said that she put kid-sized hammers in the bag, she never said that I had to return them, nor did she ask for my name or number. I think I should return the hammers when we are done using them, but my mom says I should let the girls take them home. I think if I return them, then another girl scout troop would have the same opportunity as we are getting.
Call the hardware store and ask if they were yours to keep. If they are, and you still want to give other troops the opportunity to use them, contact another troop and offer them up. Also, Tell them about the hardware stores' kindness. This will support the store's business and improve the community's opinion of it. It will also give other troops an opportunity to learn new things.
