I say Bone Thugs-N-Harmony cuz they could (and did) do so many styles
The Roots
Why? Consistency, look at all the groups you mentioned, they have had great albums but they have had not so great albums, the Roots have never made a bad album IMO and all of their except the Tipping Point have been Classic or near Classic. And they do use actual instruments like a real band but if you don't like that their album Rising Down is done with more technology. Black Thought is a great MC and Questlove is an amazing drummer/producer.
EDIT: If were taking into account Solo projects then you have to give it to Wu-Tang just cause of the Solo stuff the members have done but if were only talking about the GROUPS work then it is The Roots
